It involves a blend of creativity, skill development, a connection to nature, and a sense of accomplishment. Completing a willow basket, especially if it&#8217;s a complex or intricate design, can be incredibly rewarding.\u00a0 It is a tangible representation of my time, effort, and creativity. There is great satisfaction as well by knowing I am using sustainable materials. Working with willow provides a strong connection to nature and a sense of using a renewable and native resource. I likewise find the process of weaving to be meditative and relaxing.
